What you will need:
~2 1/4 cups flour
~1 1/2 cups sugar
~1/2 cup butter/margarine
~1 1/4 cups milk
~3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
~1 tsp. salt
~1 tsp. vanilla extract
~3 large eggs
~cupcake wrappers

What to do:
~Heat oven to 350 degrees
~Mix all in gredients on low speed for thirty seconds. (personal tip: sift the flour first! it will help make the cupcakes lighter!). Scrape bowl constantly.
~Beat on high speed for three minutes, stirring occasionally.
~Put the cupcake wrappers into a muffin tin and scoop the batter into it; about 2/3 of the way full.
~Bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
~Let them cool for 5-10 minutes before icing.
